Due to the fiscal constraints faced by many departments, your GFIA Board has allocated $10,000 in addition to this year’s K.G. Davis Scholarship. Members in good standing with the Association, who live in Georgia and work in a public-safety-related field are eligible to apply.
The Georgia Arson Control Board is sponsoring the Bob Gore Scholarship to individuals who reside in Georgia and work in a public-safety-related field.
Applicants for these scholarships must mail, fax, or email a double spaced one-page essay entitled "How I will benefit from the 2012 SEATC Training Program" along with a completed registration NO LATER than June 1st to GFIA, PO Box 382, Snellville, GA 30078, Fax: 770.978.8782, Email: susan@cunninghamfire.com.
The winning essay applicants will receive complimentary registration fee, including one ticket to the Awards luncheon and four nights lodging (double occupancy) at the Marriott Riverfront.
